Expanded Designs, Styles, Script, and Language Support

Stickley 2 is an expansion and refinement of the original P22 Stickley optical family. It includes the new, largest optical size of Banner, new weights of semi-bold and bold across all sizes and styles, a broader Latin script set, as well as the addition of Greek, Cyrillic, and Cherokee scripts, supporting more than 200 languages.
New Optical Size: Banner

Typefaces were originally designed for the physical size at which they were to be printed, with subtle variations in proportion, detail, contrast, and visual weight to ensure they were as clear at 6 point as they were elegant at 68 point. This creates a unified design as the various sizes were set together on a page.

Titling Alternates

Titling alternates are now included for uppercase, numbers, and punctuaion in all scripts, adding a special step of design character and detail for the largest uses.

All titling glyphs have been specially drawn with sharper details, accentuated characteristics, greater visual contrast, and heavily scaled punctuation for more sublte typesetting. Select glyphs have alternate designs based on historic examples to add character to titling uses.

Revised Diacritics and Symbols

Diacritics have been reworked to have a looser, more hand-hewn style across all alphabets. This style has been thoughtfully exteneded to symbols and other marks, including mathematical symbols and punctuation.

Refined Swash Caps

Completely redesigned swash caps. A new approach for a more caligraphic and dynamic presentation while retaining the spirit of the original designs.
